Hole 2 Par 4 HDCP9
White: 369Y
It’s a middle hole that doesn’t have much distance, but is sandwiched between creeks, requiring a precise and strategic approach.
Around the Green
The green is not very large, with a pond to the left and a bunker at the front right. The approach from the fairway is narrow, but there is space at the back right.
Approach Shot.
The fairway is relatively flat, but the placement of bunkers and a pond around the green is exquisite, demanding a stable second shot.
With a pond on the left of the green and a bunker at the front right, the approach from the fairway is narrow, so it’s desirable to aim for the hole from the back right of the green.
Tee Shot
This is a lightly doglegged hole to the left, where the river on the left side must always be kept in mind.
The fairway bends to the left around the fairway bunker (about 180Y), so in the tee shot, you’ll want to aim over the fairway bunker. For those who don’t hit long distances, focus on making a relaxed shot over the river first.
